We are very proud that 5 of our brandies and liqueurs won outstanding awards at
the Canadian Artisan Spirit Competition 2022.

Five award winning spirits and liqueurs at the CASC 2022.

Maple Leaf Spirits Lady of the Cask — Gold medal, Best in Class, with Distinction and Merit in Terroir
Maple Leaf Spirits Wild Apple — Gold medal, Merit in Terroir
Maple Leaf Spirits Aged Italian Prune — Merit in Terroir
Maple Leaf Spirits Maple Liqueur — Bronze medal
Maple Leaf Spirits Peach Liqueur — Bronze medal

What does that mean?

  • Best in Class – The top scoring spirit in each category is awarded Best in Class
  • Distinction – This is awarded to spirits which have performed at the same or better than last year’s competition, indicating a consistent or improved quality
  • Merit in Terroir – spirits that demonstrate a clear sense of place in their expression

Our Lady of the Cask, Aged Italian Prune, and Wild Apple brandies have all won Gold!
Our wine brandy even got awarded Best in Class, with Distinction and Merit in Terroir.
Bronze medals came in for our Maple Liqueur and Peach Liqueur. We loved these in summer for dessert, on ice, in cocktails, …. do you have any left?
